Michael, I wrote a reply to you on March 16, but I think I didn’t do something right and it was hidden. I’m trying again, and hopefully I’ll publish it in such a way that you can see it. Here’s what I wrote on March 16:

Michael, first, let me say “thank you” for your kind opening words. It means so much to me when people find something of value in the time and energy I offer as my gift to them.
Everything you said about prayer is fully consistent with the teachings of Jesus. Buddhism existed long before Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and I often marvel at how closely his teaching, relationships, and way of life matched that of the most enlightened Buddhist teachers.
“You have said… But I say to you…” Over and over again, Jesus rejected the Jewish interpretations of his contemporaries, and replaced them with interpretations of scripture that any Buddhist would easily understand.
I hope you’ll enjoy the article I’m publishing in just a few minutes: “Ask Bob #102: Keeping Faith When God Says No.” I’m doing the final edits now, but stopped to respond to your nice comments.
